A guided tour
Itra turns them into guides, tutorials, or bug reports you can edit, share, and replay. Press play and watch each part in action - or just scroll.
Free Chrome extension. The Web Store listing is on its way.
A guided tour1 Record
The guide in this tour was made by someone just doing the task - clicking, typing, moving around. Every action became a step, with a screenshot. No pausing to document anything. No writing it up afterwards.
Hit record, do the thing, hit stop. That's the whole of it.
2 Narrate
Explain what you're doing, like you would for a colleague. Itra turns what you say into the words on each step - transcribed right on your computer, not sent off somewhere to be read.
Don't like the wording? Every step is yours to reword, reorder or tidy up afterwards.
3 Your turn
Here's a real login - the details are right there, no secret. Type them in, then look at what Itra kept: your password never leaves that box. On replay, Itra doesn't fill it - it asks you to type your own.
4 Replay
A finished guide can run itself in a fresh tab. Use it as a tutorial someone follows hands-on while they learn the ropes, or as a quick check that the flow still works after something changed.
Add a check to any step - a URL, an element, a value - and each one passes or fails as it runs. When something's broken, you see exactly which step and why.
5 Export and hand off
When you're done, the guide leaves Itra in whatever shape you need. Every format is made on your computer, from the guide you just recorded.
Found a bug? The same steps and screenshots become a bug report you push straight onto a Jira issue - as a comment, or on the description. Nothing to set up, and nothing is sent until you press Paste.
A self-contained .html file that opens in any browser.
Download .htmlPrint-ready, with the screenshots baked in.
Save as PDFA .docx that drops straight into Confluence.
Download .docxThe whole guide, ready to paste anywhere.

That's the basics
That's the essentials. Itra is a free Chrome extension - the Web Store listing is on its way. When you want the rest - checks, editing, exports, sending a bug to Jira - the guides walk through all of it.
Or replay the tour from the top.
